WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH?
Every person has their own unique story, so there is no one set standard that works for everyone. We will take a deep dive into what is bothering you right now, where some of those messages and behaviors come from, and how you want to feel and operate from this point forward. We create a PLAN!
I believe in having stimulating conversations that engage your intellect and your ability to go within to find the capacity to make changes. I work at your pace, but I’m known to challenge you with some new thoughts that you can apply to your life. I’m trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Life-Coach. I combine them together for a dynamic Hybrid Approach.
WHAT IS THE COST OF WORKING WITH YOU?
INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS: $150 FOR 1 HOUR
COUPLES SESSIONS: $175 FOR 1 HOUR
Accepted forms of payment: Cash, Venmo, Zelle and Apple Pay.
DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
No. We do NOT take insurance or offer big bills for reimbursement.
Please also be advised that we do not sign any forms for Therapy Dogs, Worker's Compensation, Medical Leave, or any other services.
DO YOU OFFER IN-PERSON SESSIONS?
Yes, we offer in-person sessions to clients throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area. We are located in a professional home space in Glendale.
DO YOU OFFER ONLINE VIRTUAL TELEHEALTH SESSIONS?
Yes, we offer virtual sessions to clients worldwide via Zoom. We have found online sessions to be just as effective as in-person sessions. Facial expressions and body language can be seen with video just as well as in-person. Some of our clients prefer online sessions to save time traveling to and from our office, avoiding unpredictable traffic challenges. It also makes it easier for clients to schedule-in an hour, even during their lunch break at work, rather than trying to find a 2-3 hour window to account for traffic. Some clients also feel more comfortable in their own homes, or have family members, children and pets they cannot leave. If you are seeing us for Couples Counseling and you and your partner are in different locations, that is perfectly fine. We will all be joined in the video session via Zoom.
DO YOU OFFER APPOINTMENTS ON WEEKENDS?
No. As much as we love seeing you, we need to have some personal downtime for ourselves. We make ourselves available for emergencies via text 24/7.
HOW OFTEN DO I / WE NEED TO MEET?
You decide what works for you. We understand it's a time and financial commitment. You need to be comfortable with how you are going to address this for yourself. Many clients come every other week, and others do monthly check-ins. We respect whatever you need to do for yourself. We encourage you go out and "try on" some of the things that we are discussing. You can rest-assured knowing that we appreciate getting to know your story so you can just plug in sessions as you need them.
CAN YOU HELP ME?
We certainly hope that we can. We offer thought provoking and deeply personal approaches that are individually tailored to your needs. However, we do want to hear your personal story so we can decide together. That’s why a quick call/text is in order. We call back very quickly.
IS YOUR PRACTICE INCLUSIVE OF ALL TYPES OF CLIENTS?
Yes. Same sex couples, LGBTQ individuals, non-binary individuals and couples living alternative lifestyles are all welcome. Our office is on the second floor with a stairway access, so if you are unable to use stairs, please let us know as we have several alternative solutions so we can meet with you.
IS EVERYTHING WE TALK ABOUT IN-SESSION KEPT CONFIDENTIAL?
100%. Confidentiality is one of the most important components between a client and us. No one will know you are one of our clients, and no one will be made privy to anything you talk about in our sessions. You can rest assured that everything you say or we discuss will be kept in the strictest of confidence.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
We require at least 24 hours advanced notice of cancellation for all sessions. You will be charged the full session fee for appointments canceled with less than 24 hours advanced notice. Additional details about our Cancellation Policy can be viewed in our Relationship Agreement.
WHAT ARE THE STEPS TO GETTING STARTED WITH YOU?
1. Contact us to arrange your Free Phone Consultation so we can chat about your needs and decide if we are right for you.
2. If all of us would like to proceed together, we will schedule a session date and time.
3. Fill out our online Relationship Agreement.
4. We meet in-person or online via Zoom.
